In my journey building a company, I’ve never felt like more of an impostor.
Who am I to build this? What makes me qualified? Why would people use something I’m building?
I’m realizing the trick is to continue fighting the inner demons. I will keep powering through. The facade I was parading will slowly fade away, but behind the facade, I had been building. Building myself to fill that space.
To keep building and to keep challenging myself, I’m going to continue to put myself out there.
- To be open to conversations
- To engage with users
- To solve the problems
And ultimately, to make it a profitable business, so that it can live on past me and Vet Tent will continue to be a valuable resource for the military community.
As a first step, I’m building in public.
As a second leap, I’m attaching my face, name, and a bio to the About section of Vet Tent
