After packing for a variety of situations and loading up the car, I hit the road and headed to Northern Virginia to catch up with friends.

As I was leaving a guy was helping his girlfriend move into my building, we struck up a conversation and decided to hangout when I return!

With one roommate leaving and another moving in while I’m gone, we planned a very coordinated Key exchange. I drove off, but had to circle back because thankfully my roommate called reminding me to drop off the keys. Great coincidence, at the same time I got a text from someone who I lent my bike pump and lock.

Late night drinks at Rock It grill, a grungy karaoke bar. Wild enough, ran into two friends (Duke and David) from my company from college at the bar. Crazy small world. Fascinating conversations and catch ups.

I sang All Star by Smash Mouth in front of the crowd. I should never do that again. I definitely don’t have a singing voice.
